Subject: Punky Wood
Content: Posted a picture of the Santa with Deer that I am working on. Discussed briefly in my journal page the problem I am having with punky wood and also figuring out the back side of a deer. Got a few suggestions, which I tried with success today, about the punky wood. Things are moving, although slowly...but being retired...I have nothing but time. So progress to date photo is out there to see should you be interested. Have been looking at deer reference books for the other problem. Also posted an interesting idea that I carved in a club sponsored Saturday class, last Saturday. It is a relief on photo frame. I loved the piece of wood so while everyone else did a Christmas theme relief, on clear wood, I did a southwest theme as the wood seemed to cry out...Arizona....Patti
