As I stated in my bio I started carving about 4 years ago. There are a few carvers locally, and we get together during the winter bi-weekly. Great group and we all get along well. Have taken class's with Kurt Kurtis, Floyd Shultz, Pat Godin, and Ernie Mulehamet. Enjoyed every one of the classes, and looking forward to many more in the future. The Black walnut Angel was carved for a fellow medic who was involved in a fatal ambulance crash in 2007 and survived. We lost a real close frind in the crash and the patient.....enough said...... carved it more to help me heal but it ended up helping us both.
The cardinals was my first attempt at song birds, my wife fell in love with it so she claimed it and put it on her desk at work. The baby Guardian angel is something I do for my fellow employees when they bring a new life into the world it has all the baby's info burned into the angels gown, and becomes a keepsake for the baby.
There are a few more pictures to upload but I have to find them, as well as a couple of projects I am working on that should be appearing soon.
