How and when I got started woodcarving
Started whittlin and carving in 2005. Been retired for 18 years (retired at 50). Had been making cabinets, but cabinets got too heavy to handle. Still wanted to work with wood, so whittlin and carving came to the rescue.

I enjoy these types of woodcarving
I like to carve small, in the round, and deep relief.

I enjoy carving these things
Santa ornaments, wizards, gnomes, and animals. The animals are for Noahs Arks that I make.

I'd like to learn more about
I need to keep on learning about all types of wood carving and sharpening.

I attend these woodcarving clubs

 thanks for your comments on my jooltool review and my writings in general.  I'm glad to know when something I do is useful to someone else.  I am trying to add interesting things which will help make this site worthwhile to carvers. thanks again
