One of my major "hangups" is painting my woodcarvings.  I have seen several carvings which were painted by long time carvers and the carvings were beautifully painted.  Shadows in the right places, highlights as well etc. etc. I have 2 carved busts which I carved and had the help of a well known carver and painter.  What a difference.  I am a bit color blind and depend on the labels on the paint bottles for help with the colors. I do want to do a GOOD job in painting my carvings but I need some help . Any suggestions or comments will be appreciated.  Thank You!    Billy M.
