Lynette, Start bugging me in January..The design really belongs to Frank, am going to ask permission to redraw and publish a pattern..At that point, I will adopt any member on this site to carve the bear with my instructions, and report back what needs clarification..I might even have rough outs ready. who knows ?..Right now designing several carvings to enter in shows, killing and cleaning up Christmas season..I offered one of my patterns to a company as a new product(free of course) Need to put 8 hard felt wheels on eBay, so I'm looking for an article I wrote, photographs, and getting it ready to send to Chip Chats.Did an article on a local Indian mound, and really have an art prof on the Hill excited.."Don't tell anyone ,,,publish,,, and let me write you up in a national art magazine"..It's like when I found a five dollar bill when I was a kid,,,had all these friends. And, don't carve anything the way I carved this bear, no reference material, just cutting away wood to see how the shape will work Does not work, except as a paper weight.. That bear is on the cover of Frank Horvat's book, A Virtual Zoo. I asked permission to use the picture in a carving.. Got that far, and chucked into a box..Actually intend to send it to him, and finish my design of another one.. Remind me after the Holidays,to paste a pattern some place on this site,, have several projects to start wrapping up...There are, also , about forty articles in my computer ...Could write three or four books, another one of my dead end hobbies, cordially, Nad aka KingNad
