My 6 year old Grandson called to ask if I would help him with a Christmas gift for his father.  He would make a drawing that I would put on wood for him.  This photo is the result of that collaboration.  He drew the picture; I transferred the drawing to wood.  Using my woodburner and gouges and chisels replicated his drawing on wood.  I then color matched his drawing with acrylic paints finishing with several coats of Deft.
