June 5-6, 2010, Lancaster County WoodCarvers’ 37th Annual Woodcarving & Wildlife Art Festival / Competition, Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster, PA (717) 392-4911. There will be carvings and art for sale. There will be competition, displays, sales, and demonstrations of Wood Carvings and Wildlife Art! There will also be vendors with tools, carving supplies, books and food. Door Prizes. The theme for the Festival is "One Nation Under God!" Featured carver will be Robert Stadtlander, a resident of Wellsville, New York, who specializes in relief carving. Raffle of Civil War Chess Set carved by club members to benefit a charity for veterans, SOAR, Support Our American Recruits. $5.00 Admission, Free Parking.
