Show some restraint!

     Not much carving got done today. It was a really nice Mother's Day for my wife, though. The kids got up and took good care of her and we had a really nice lunch/dinner.
     Late in the afternoon when Sarah got distracted, I got a wild hair to go ahead and build the carving board that I have been wanting to build for a while. I have seen a couple of websites that have included plans, but I just put a mental image together of what I wanted/needed... Read More

CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS

Never to early to start on CHRISTMAS!!When I was teaching I always did my Santa class in June. Started doing tree ornaments about 28 years ago(just 5 to do) now the family has grown 3 fold + so my normal year now is around 30...for a few close friends and Christmas exchange. Added a couple on the WHITTLERS GROUP..if you have any request let me know as I might have already carved a few.I try to get them done early..I have them all carved for this year..now comes the hard part..PAINTING.
